Nigeria has recorded 675 new cases of the Coronavirus, bringing the total number to 20,919 in the country.

A tweet from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday night, shows that  7,109 persons have been discharged.

In the new cases, Lagos is leading with 288 followed by Oyo-76, Rivers-56, Delta-31 and Ebonyi-30.

Others are Gombe-28 Ondo-20 Kaduna-20 Kwara-20 Ogun-17 FCT-16 Edo-13 Abia-10 Nasarawa-9 Imo-9 Bayelsa-8 Borno-8 Katsina-8 Sokoto-3 Bauchi-3 and Plateau-2.

A total of 525 persons have so far lost their lives in Nigeria due to COVID-19, the tweet said.
