Suspected gunmen have abducted many female students of Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation in Mando area of Kaduna State, a fourth major school abduction in one month in Nigeria.
This is the fourth case of students kidnap from school in recent times after it had happened in Kankara, Kagara and Jangebe towns all for north-western Nigeria.
BBC reports that the suspected gunmen attacked the school late on Thursday, March 11, 2021 and targeted only the female students.
Security agents have been mobilised to the school to restore calm and launch a rescue operation.
Kaduna Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, has reportedly confirmed the abduction.
